ONE-TWO FINISH at MAZDA RACEWAY for CJ WILSON RACING

The result of Round 4 of the 2013 SCCA Pro Mazda PlayBoy MX-5 Cup means that Elliott now leads the series overall while Patrick has taken a firm grip of the Rookie Championship.

RACING IN A STATE OF OPTIMISM

The Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge heads to Road Atlanta this weekend. It is a track that has provided rich pickings for most of the driving squad and, indeed, the team owner! Will this be a track that really suits the MX-5 platform? We will see as the weekend develops. What we do know is that there victory lane is familiar territory here in Georgia. 

SKEER LOOKING TO FORGE HIS OWN PATH

Elliot Skeer is looking to put his own stamp on the Playboy mazda MX-5 Cup Championship in 2013. The Vista, California driver is hoping his sophomore season will mirror the success of his former CJ Wilson Racing, Mazda MX-5 Cup teammate, Stevan McAleer, from last year. CJ RAISES HIS GLOBAL PROFILE

The global motorsport show, "Mobil 1 The Grid", recently spent some time with both CJ in Arizona and the MX-5 Cup team at Sebring. It was shooting a feature on CJ and his interests in racing. The footage they got was so good that, it was decided to split the feature into two parts. Part 1 is available now and Part 2, covering Elliott's win at Sebring, will air in a few weeks.

Work starts in earnest this week for the owner of CJ Wilson Racing as the Major League Baseball season gets underway after six weeks of pre-season training. For All-Star pitcher, CJ Wilson’s Austin based Grand Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge team; Round 3 at Barber Motorsports Park offers the chance of a fresh start and a genuine swing at the title next fall.
